A stunning barn conversion with an equally stunning family kitchen. Surface run electrics with outdoor lighting and a concrete style Island worktop give a chic industrial feel.
Taking on a conversion can be a daunting task but this dilapidated barn became a wonderful family home. This sizeable room was designed as an open plan living-dining-social space.
Designing only a low run of cabinets at the original barn wall kept the refurbished stone as a stunning focal point. Thiwas dressed with surface run conduits and effective industrial style lighting.
The colours bring a sense of warmth with mixed textures of the stone of the original barn wall, refurbished barn door and classic sandstone floor.
A bank of two double larders and an American fridge freezer provide ample storage as well as the Island, which incorporates comfortable seating for the family of four or casual seating when friends call round.
