A traditional stone built property which received a light filled extension with skylights and a feature window overlooking the beach. Hand painted in dark grey, this kitchen design includes angles and curves to follow the unusual contour of the walls.
Dark grey cabinets look stunning against the palest of grey flooring and gleaming white Corian work surfaces. The unusual angle of the walls was crying out for bespoke furniture. Every inch of the space was used. Stainless steel appliances complete the more contemporary styling. Corian worksurfaces came into their own as all joins are unobtrusive and give a full free flow to the shape.
The spiral staircase leads to a roof terrace above where the clients can sit and enjoy the view of the beach. Curved end cabinetry beautifully finished inside and out.
Hob bars integrated into the work surface saves the top from any hot pans. The smallest of open cabinetry links the cabinetry on the angled walls. Given that this kitchen was installed in 2010, it backs up that a bespoke kitchen can have a timeless appeal.
