​Following on from the first collaboration between SMEG and Dolce&Gabbana producing the most colourful appliances, these hand painted fridges were launched.  Only 100 have been made and they have been individually hand painted by Sicillian artists.  Each takes around 240 hours to complete.

Designs include medieval knights, battle scenes, cart wheels, lemons, floral motifs and more.  

Guaranteed to brighten up any kitchen, they do come with a price tag of around £30,000+ 
MADE IN ITALY PROJECT - SICILY IS MY LOVE ​
 In addition to the larger SMEG appliances, "Sicily is my Love" is a collection of small domestic appliances given the Dolce&Gabbana makeover.
These include a slow juicer, blender, toaster, citrus juicer, stand mixer, coffee machine and kettle.

These small kitchen appliances are decorated with Sicilian folklore interpretations and include lemons, prickly pears, bright red cherries and triangular motifs known as "crocchi" and much more in the way of floral images and orgnamental friezes - all with a tie to Sicily.

More expensive than their normal counterpart flat colour finish, again, these are designed to bring warmth and Italian flair to the kitchen.​
