We are delighted to share with you our trends prediction for 2020s.
Whether you are thinking of renovating your kitchen or just like to stay on top with new and fresh ideas for interiors, we hope that our list will resonate with you.
The reign of an open plan living is coming to an end and soon, we will all turn to "zoning".
Domestic plants, of various sizes and shapes, screens and bookcases with open shelving, slowly will take over our interiors, helping to divide previously flat, open spaces.
Introducing plants to our indoors has been championed by influencers as therapeutic and environmentally friendly.
In the kitchen a peninsula or a bar will do the job.
The main aim of broken-plan arrangement is to zone without completely closing area off, allowing the eye to see through or follow the line into the next zone, like our kitchen design below.
The kitchen, although confined, still feels open and welcoming, allowing people on both ends to interact freely.
Grey is here to stay
There is not much that we need to add to this statement.
Grey in interiors can be very useful. Not only it works great with strong, vibrant colours and natural wood, but it can also create a soft and neutral look that will not overpower the whole space.
A shade of grey can anchor a modern yet classic look that can be later be jazzed up with fashionable accessories.
As before, choosing the right colour for the cabinetry is the key.
Go for a timeless colour and your kitchen will stay fashionable for decades. It is so much easier to change a lamp shade than to repaint your cabinets.
This year go for metallics!
Soft brass and copper accessories will brighten up the interiors. From lamp shades to handles, taps to cutlery, metallic accents will soon dominate our homes.
You can easily pair them up with vibrant colours of orange or turquoise, to create a strong look.
Even when you have standard stainless steel appliances and handles, adding warm metallics and vibrant accents is a go.
Be playful, creative and follow your instincts to create a space that you will call truly yours.
Keep your kitchen worktop clutter free with smart cupboards and larders.
Opting for concealed appliances, such as coffee machine and microwave, will free up the valuable space.
